Freda Joy (Bailey) Goss
November 29, 1953 ~ November 18, 2023

Freda Joy Goss was born November 29, 1953, to Robert and Phyllis (Taylor) Bailey in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She transitioned from this life November 18, 2023, at the age of 69.

Freda was a 1972 graduate of Bristow High School. She was united in marriage to Dennis Powers on October 21, 1972, and they had their daughters, Staci Powers and Stephani Powers. Freda loved her family with an unmatched passion. She was blessed with 5 “grand-blessings” who she enjoyed spending every extra moment of her life with.

Freda excelled in culinary arts. Her hobbies included holistic education, gardening, and homesteading.

On October 18, 1985, Freda married Paul Goss. She was a bookkeeper, entrepreneur and owned her own business, Bugright, LLC. She was an outstanding model of a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her purpose in living. She always kept God first and shared her love for Jesus with others.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Goss; two daughters, Staci Joy Powers and husband Cody Dobbs, Stephani Denise Dykes, and husband Randy; mother, Phyllis Bailey; five grandchildren, Lydia, Bodhi, Cullen, Willow, and Archer Dykes. Brother, Gerald Bailey; sisters Trish Funk and Linda Neal. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Bailey, one daughter, Denise, and first husband, Dennis Powers.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Reverend Mike Neal officiating.
