November 3, 1961 ~ August 28, 2020

Ellis Joseph Gordon was born the 3rd child of Jerry Doyle Gordon, Sr and Grace (Babin) Gordon on November 3, 1961. He left his earthly home on August 28, 2020. He was 58 years and 10 months old.

Ellis was born in Independence, Louisiana and moved to Stilwell, Oklahoma in 1982. He never worked outside the home but boy did he work everyone he met. He amassed a collection of t-shirts, hats, dollar bills and girlfriends far and wide. His primary job was being a world class Casanova and the official remote holder. Didn’t matter what kind of remote, he held them all. He was a smooth talker, promising all potential fiancés a ring and a dinner of cheeseburgers and French fries at Burger King. Besides his lady friends, Ellis loved watching professional wrestling and many, many, many reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard and Walker Texas Ranger. He was a fan of country music, specifically Hank Jr or, as he called him, Bophefus.

He is preceded in death by both, parents, Jerry Doyle and Grace and sister, Janice Glenn. Survived by brother Jerry Gordon,Jr , sister Joanie Longshore and husband Roy, sister Ellen Gordon all of Stilwell and his honorary sister Renee Gordon of Livingston,LA, 10 Nieces and nephews Charles Cronon, III and girlfriend Julie Ingram, Amy Lowry, Melissa Glenn-Plaisance and husband Brock, Cherie Davis and husband Tony, Julie Chaney and husband Justin, Jerry Gordon,III, Leah Tinsley and husband Chad, Denise Brown and husband Jason, Blake Longshore, and Loren Gordon, 17 Great nieces and nephews-Ethen Wilhite, Amanda and Isaac Cronon, Austin, Lexi, Aaron and Ayden Davis, Kayleigh Scott, Peyton Gordon, Gracie and Tyler Chaney, Garrett Gordon, Lisa Christie, Michaela Sedillo, Kenna Caughman, Ashley Brown and Brett Brown, and many loving family members around the state of Louisiana.
