Lavonne Joyce Goodell passed from this life on May 23, 2025, at the age of 73 at her home in Osage, Oklahoma.
Lavonne was born on February 5, 1952, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alfred Weslie and Ellyn Joyce (Hart) Hewitt. Lavonne grew up in Terlton where she started school later transferring to Cleveland where she graduated. Lavonne was united in marriage to Micheal Duane Goodell, Sr. on July 9, 1971, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her children Micheal Goodell, Jr. and Kimberly Cox and husband Jerome, two siblings Gerald Hewitt, Clinton Hewitt; grandchildren Briauna, Haley, Megan, Jerome, Jessika, Allyson; one great grandson Johnny Grimes and a host of other relatives and friends. Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents Weslie and Ellyn Hewitt, husband Micheal Goodell and one brother Cliff Hewitt.
