Randy Mark Good, 72, was welcomed into heaven on September 27, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born December 3, 1952, in Goldthwaite, Texas, to Julyan Carl Good and Ada Marie Richardson, and grew up in Waurika, Oklahoma. He graduated from Waurika High School and carried his small-town values of hard work, faith, and honesty with him throughout life.
On June 30, 1989, Randy married the love of his life, Elaine Ann England. From that day forward, he was not only her devoted husband but also a father and hero to her daughter, Cindy. Randy and Elaine’s marriage was full of love, laughter, and adventure. His devotion to Elaine was evident in everything he did—though his devotion to her meatloaf may have been a close second.
Randy was self-employed in HVAC for many years, flourishing in the industry and mentoring countless others who went on to start their own successful businesses. His employees quickly became family, and many can attest to Randy’s generosity. He was the kind of boss who would go without so others could be paid and cared for, a testament to his integrity and selflessness.
While he loved his work, Randy loved his family even more. In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially deep-sea fishing trips that gave him memories (and fish tales) he treasured. In later years, Randy and Elaine purchased land and cattle, where he delighted in early mornings riding the gator with his pup Lucy, counting cows. His prized #44 cow even earned a permanent spot of honor above the kitchen table. Randy and Elaine shared many casino “dates” that rarely ended with jackpots but always ended in laughter.
He cherished time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, becoming their best playmate and “certified ice cream tester.” He serenaded them with lullabies, most memorably belting out “Marie Laveau,” leaving them giggling and screaming with delight.
Randy was the definition of a genuine man of God. He built a family legacy on the foundation of doing what was right, helping those in need, and saying what needed to be said—even when no one else would. His ornery smile, warm hugs, and dependable presence made every person feel loved in his company. Years ago, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ, and in his last days he spoke often of how wonderful heaven would be.
