Alvin Lee Good

June 9, 1942 ~ January 23, 2024

Alvin Lee Good, age 83, peacefully passed away in his sleep on January 23, 2024, in Sherman, Texas. Born on June 9, 1942, in Seminole, Oklahoma to George and Delta Good, Al was the oldest of six children. He lived in various places during his upbringing before making California his home. On February 11, 1967, Al married Debby Kay Pratt in Long Beach, California. After selling his janitorial business in Riverside, CA, he settled in Taft, CA in 1977, where he worked in oilfield and construction management until his retirement in 2008. Al and Debby retired to Caddo, OK, where they enjoyed life together until his passing.

Al had a passion for airplanes, owning many over the years, and found joy in working on Corvettes and motorcycles. He served in the United States Army from 1965 as a helicopter mechanic and was honorably discharged in 1970.

Alvin is preceded in death by is parents, George and Delta Good, sister Georgia Good and brother Jack Good.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife Debby Good of the home, sons Heath Good and wife Brenda of Williston, ND and George Good of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Kristina Gonzalez of South Bend, IN, Brittany Good of Williston, ND, and Aaron Good of Williston, ND, seven great grandchildren: Fabian, Bella, Carmelo, Elaine, Emery, Aislinn, and Everrtt and numerous extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace and may the memories you shared with Alvin bring you comfort during this difficult time. There are no services planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
