Robert Dewayne Gollihare, 78, Hollis, Oklahoma passed away Saturday July 11, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Hollis with Pastor Chris Carlisle and Rev. Jeff Messer officiating. Visitation will be at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis, Oklahoma on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Hollis, Youth and Children’s Ministries, 201 E Jones, Hollis, OK 73550.

Burial will be at the Dodson Cemetery, Dodson, Texas with Masonic Rights and Military Honors under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis.

Robert Dewayne Gollihare was born to Charlie Robert and Ella Marie (Skidmore) Gollihare in Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 4, 1936. Robert attended school and grew up in Dodson before joining the Army. After his service he worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in Highway Maintenance, and retired in 1999. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hollis, the Jaycees, Masonic Lodge, the Volunteer Fire Department and the George DeShazo VFW Post #68 all of Shamrock, TX. He enjoyed participating in flea markets, visiting with friends and family, fishing, collecting hot wheels, giving away radio flyer wagons to family members and spending time going to his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s ball games and stock shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Caroline Lynette Gollihare; and four brothers, Richard, Gerald, Donald and LeRoy Gollihare.

Survivors include a daughter, Karon Deann and husband Robert Jackson of Hollis; two sons, Ricky Dewayne Gollihare and wife Angela of Orange, TX and Randy Scott Gollihare and wife Angie of Georgetown, TX; 11 grandchildren, Zachrey Wayne Adams, Dustin Clayburn Adams and wife Lindsey, Tiffany Rachelle Jackson and fianc� Matt Iven, Ashton Wayne Gollihare, Tanner Gollihare and wife Ashleigh, Logan Gollihare, Hunter Gollihare, Randall DeWayne Gollihare, Thomas Darby and wife Lauren, Levi Ryan Gollihare and Ryan Darby; 8 great grandchildren, Emma-Kate Grace Adams, Paisley Rae Adams, Berkley Lane Adams, Colton Gollihare, Kylie Gollihare, Rylan Bloom, Allison Gollihare and Averie Darby; two sisters, Lois and husband Joe Roberts of Ada, OK and Linda Prock of Shawnee, OK; five brothers, Dale Gollihare of Broken Arrow, OK, Johnny Gollihare and wife Sue of North Platt, Nebraska, Eugene Gollihare and wife Mary of Hollis, Charles Gollihare of Ada and Douglas Gollihare  and wife Margaret of Kountze, TX and many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
