Tommy D. Golden

February 25, 1931 ~ March 24, 2015

Tommy D. Golden, 84 of Albuquerque passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

He was born on February 25, 1931 at Ft. Supply, OK to Samuel Edward and Ida May (Thomas) Golden. Tommy married Nancy Lee Becker on August 28, 1959 in El Paso, TX.

He received a Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked at Sunshine Mine in ID, El Paso Police Department as an officer and detective, and came to Albuquerque working for US Naval Intelligence and later worked with the Defense Investigative Service. After his retirement, he did contract background checks for the Office of Personnel Management.

Tommy was an avid fisherman, hunter, sports fan, and loved bowling.

He is survived by his daughter, Tamara Johnson and husband Lewis of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Maxwell Ryan Kasprzak and Madeline Claire Kasprzak; and two brothers, Sam and Lloyd Golden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy and his sister Pearl Golden.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming in Albuquerque.
