Betty Jewell Golden

January 19, 1929 ~ June 4, 2012

Betty Golden, 83, of Midwest City passed away from cancer at her home with her daughter Sharon and son David by her side. Born in Missouri, she came to live in MWC in 1960.

Betty retired from Aetna Medicare in 1990. She loved working in her yard and loved being a Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be deeply missed by everyone, especially her daughter Sharon and son David.

Betty was preceded in death by her Mother Dora and her oldest son Steve.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon and her husband John of Yukon, OK; son David of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law Suzie of MWC; sisters Norma and Lorene of MO; grandchildren Clinton & Jason Thompson; Christian Holcomb; Jacob, Aaron & Steven Golden; Kim & Brian Golden and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel.

 The family would like to thank Dr. James Mays and Gina, Tabitha and Jessica for all the loving care they gave our mother.
