Kesia Danielle Godwin
Aug. 31, 1975 ~ Nov. 1, 2022

Kesia Danielle Godwin passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at the age of 47. Kesia was born Aug. 31, 1975, in Clinton to Mike and Paula Smith. She was later adopted by Dwayne Godwin. Together Paula and Dwayne raised her in a loving home with her brother and sister.

Kesia was preceded in death by her son Connor Michael; father Mike Smith; grandparents Homer and Margaret Godwin, Chester and Pauline Chapman, Mildred and Shorty Smith and step-grandmother Nina Chapman.

Kesia is survived by her daughter Caislin Danielle; father Dwayne Godwin and her stepmother Laura; mother Paula Farrell and her stepdad Jeff; sister Julia Brodersen; brother Steven Godwin and wife Dana; and her brother Justice Godwin, as well as her nieces and nephew.

Kesia’s celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the First Christian Church of Thomas.
