Benjamin "Gene" Glendening
June 13, 1949 ~ October 29, 2020 (age 71)

Benjamin “Gene” Glendening, age 71, of Cache passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his residence.

Gene was born on June 13, 1949 in Lampasas, Texas to Benjamin Oscar and Mary Irene Josephine Glendening. He grew up in Texas and moved to Oklahoma in 2018. Gene didn’t make friends easily, but once he did, they were friends forever. He and his brother were adopted at a young age together. He was a long-haul truck driver for most of his life. In his free time, Gene enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding and working in the yard, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Oscar and Mary Irene Josephine Glendening, Gene is survived by his wife, Karin Kilgore Glendening; one son, Brian Glendening; one daughter, Lori Minter; one son-in-law, Patrick Kilgore and one daughter-in-law, Patty Kilgore along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and close friends.
