Isabella May “Bella” Glaze-Lagos

Isabella May “Bella” Glaze-Lagos
May 30, 2009 ~ June 22, 2025

Isabella “Bella” May Glaze-Lagos, 16, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on June 22, 2025. She was born on May 30, 2009, in Fridley, Minnesota, to Douglas Lagos Gonzalez and Elizabeth Carey. Bella was a student at Adair Public Schools, where she had just completed her freshman year. A bright and determined young woman, she had dreams of attending nursing school and dedicating her life to helping others. She was a proud member of the Adair High School cheerleading team and had recently earned the title of All-American Cheerleader—an honor that reflected her talent, hard work, and vibrant spirit. She was also a member of FCCLA and was passionate about serving others both at school and in her community. Bella loved Jesus and was a devoted member of Greenbrier Church in Adair, where she was baptized by Pastor Derek Bolin. Her faith guided her joyful outlook and compassionate heart. Known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and genuine kindness, Bella had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. Whether cheering on the sidelines, offering a word of encouragement, or simply lighting up a room with her presence, she brought happiness and hope wherever she went. She also loved staying active—especially running—and cherished time spent outdoors.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Carey and husband Shane of Adair, Oklahoma; her father, Douglas Gonzalez of Wisconsin; brothers, Tristan Lagos-Gonzalez and Caden Carey, both of Adair, Oklahoma; sisters, Elizabeth Glaze-Lagos and Madison Carey, both of Adair, Oklahoma, Belle Linn and husband Jake of Grove, Oklahoma, Desiree Bien of Rogers, Arkansas, and Trista Bien of Grove, Oklahoma; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Shoemaker, and her paternal grandfather, Saul Antonio Lagos Gonzalez.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2025, in the Adair Event Center in Adair, Oklahoma with Pastor Derek Bolin officiating.

To leave her family a message, please visit her Tribute Wall at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.
