Mary Lee (Beard) Glass
July 25, 1944 ~ October 5, 2023

Mary L. Glass, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at her home at the age of 79 years.

Mary was born on July 25th, 1944, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Robert Kelly and Opal Marie (Smith) Beard. She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools. She left Oklahoma and moved to Pennsylvania for several years before returning to build her home in Blackwell.

On May 26th, 2011, Mary and Bill Glass were united in marriage. They made Blackwell their home.

Mary enjoyed driving and traveling all over, as well as camping at the lake. Mary did a lot of work on her family history and enjoyed taking photos. Mary had a large extended family, enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren and her dogs.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Glass; son John Harrison of Blackwell, Oklahoma; daughter Starla (Mike) Harmon of Media Pennsylvania; grandchildren Haley and Jake Harrison, Savannah and Olivia Harmon; sisters Sherry Taylor, Sue Ward; four brothers, Kenny, Glen, Jimmy, and Butch Beard as well as 5 step-sons; their children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Gary and Ronnie Beard and sister, Patsy Beard.

The family is holding a Celebration of Life at 1pm on Sunday, October 15th, at 918 W Dewey. All are welcome to attend.
