Robert K. "Bob" Gepfert
February 11, 1927 ~ May 1, 2014

Robert K. "Bob" Gepfert Sr., lovingly known as husband, dad and papa left his earthly home May 1, 2014.

He was born on February 11, 1927 in Dubuque, Iowa to Reva and Kenneth Gepfert.

He graduated from Franklyn High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa June 1945.

Bob served his country in the U. S. Army in Neurenberg, Germany. While in training at Ft. Sill, he met a beautiful girl that caught his eye, Jean Williams. It was love at first sight.

As soon as Bog got out of the army, they were married on December 23, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma. They lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa until 1961. They then moved to Oklahoma.

Bob and Jean were blessed with three daughters and three sons, Pati J. and David Phillips; Sheryl L. and Jeff Cain; Sue A. and Nickie Gepfert Bonenfant; Tom R. and Mary Gepfert; Ross A. and Nancy Gepfert; and Robert K. Jr. and Deana Gepfert.

They have fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Bob retired from Rockwell International in Bethany, Oklahoma. He then worked as a contract engineer on military projects for ten years. He then drove a school bus for Mid-Del School District for eight years.

He attended St. Mark Lutheran Church and later Metrol Church in Edmond.

Services will be at Ford Funeral Home, Del City and will be officiated by Paul Whitlock.
