Chilton Lynford Gates
March 16, 1918 ~ September 15, 2017

Chilton Lynford Gates, 99, a retired pilot for Phillips Petroleum Company, passed away at his home in Bartlesville on September 15, 2017.

Chilton was born on March 16, 1918 in Eminence, Missouri to parents John and Clara (Chilton) Gates. Chilton proudly served his country during WWII as a flight instructor and pilot. He was a life member of the Bartlesville American Legion and CBI.

Chilton is survived by his wife Mary and numerous relatives.

A private family service will be held.
