Sharon Ada Gast-Goodwin
September 25, 1969 ~ February 24, 2014

Sharon Ada Gast-Goodwin was born on September 25, 1969 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Ralph and Judy Gast and passed from this life on February 24, 2014 at her home in Calera at the age of 44.

Sharon moved to Bryan County 25 years ago from Little Falls, Montana.

She graduated from Durant High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

She married Shane Goodwin on September 25, 2010 and she was a member of the Lake Point Church in Durant.

She enjoyed taking pictures capturing every moment. She was jokingly known as the family historian. The family is now so appreciative and are enjoying all her historical albums. Her ultimate joy in life was being with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Shane Goodwin of the home; father, Ralph Gast of Durant; mother, Judy Gast {Scherr} of The Colony, Texas; children, Ashley Mullens and husband Jordie of Durant, Courtney Henson and husband, Chase of Durant and son, Peyton Stephens of Durant; step children, Hunter Goodwin of Calera and Paige Goodwin of Boswell; grandchildren, Madeline Stanley, Jude Mullens and Paisley Henson; sisters, Barbara O'Steen and husband, Steve of Durant and Susan Neill of the The Colony, Texas; nieces and nephews, Tina Thorne, Katy O'Steen, Casey O'Steen, Jacob Neill and Keely Helterbrand and numerous other family and dear friends.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Jim Brewer will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A fund has been set up for the benefit of Sheri Gast/Goodwin family at First Texoma National Bank of Durant, Contact Sheryl Mitchell.
