Jim Gash went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2018. 

Jim was the child of John Edward and Evelyn Wegner Gash of Woodward, OK. He was born on September 6, 1936.

 Jim graduated from Garber in 1954. He attended Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont. He served his country in the 45th Infantry Division of the Oklahoma National Guard. He married the love of his life, Shirley Conner in 1956. They made their home in Fairmont for the next 61 years where they raised their three children. He retired from Cummins Construction and moved to Tahlequah, OK in 2016. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; two sons, Gary Gash and wife Kim of Fayetteville, Rex Gash and wife Cristina of Fayetteville; his daughter, Jill Burns and husband Kevin of Tahlequah; grandchildren Grant, Christian, Dillon, Austin, and Kaden Gash and Ethan, Eric and Julianne Burns.
