Sharon Lanette (Eggers) Garud
April 22, 1946 ~ January 25, 2019

Sharon Lanette Garud, 72, died on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Fresno, CA. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Marion and Velma Eggers on April 22, 1946.

Sharon grew up on a farm in Fairmont, Oklahoma and went to Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Garber High School in 1962.

After graduating from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska, Sharon began a career in teaching and then married Wilson Garud in 1969 in Oklahoma. To this union was born Michael Wilson Garud and Andrew Wilson Garud. Sharon was a faithful wife and servant of God while her husband Wilson preached God's word.

Her second career was as a registered nurse for 30 years in cardiac and critical care.

She is survived by son Michael (Charlotte), Andrew (Jo-Linda) and grandchildren Molly, Peter, Lennox, Titus, and Dempsey Garud, and sister Judy Sattelmeier.
