Phillip Allen Garland

Phillip Allen Garland
June 27, 1957 ~ August 1, 2020

Phillip Allen Garland, 63, was born to June Garland and Carmen (Moten) Garland in Ventura, California on 6/27/1957. Phillip passed from this life in Springdale, Arkansas from cancer on August 1, 2020.

Phillip graduated from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo County, California. He was a well liked and talented surveillance supervisor who worked for the Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs.

Phillip was a homebody and enjoyed raising well-pedigreed show horses when he lived in California. He was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for his dogs, chickens and cats. He also enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steven Garland; and a sister Barbara June Garland.

He is survived by his nephews: Jerry Roberts and Michael Roberts, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.

He was loved and respected by many and will be missed.

A celebration of life was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020 at Roberts and Hart Funeral Home in Westville, Oklahoma
