Brandon Michael Gardner

Brandon Michael Gardner
November 27, 1985 ~ September 5, 2022

Brandon Michael Gardner, 36, of Bartlesville, died Monday in Bartlesville.

Brandon was born the son of Mike Gardner and Shelly (Brumley) Reid on November 27, 1985, in Wichita, KS. He was active in organized sports and particularly enjoyed baseball. He also enjoyed being outdoors practicing his skateboarding tricks.

Brandon grew up in Wichita, attending Wichita North High School. After his schooling he decided to join his mother in Port Aransas, TX, where he soon met Malinda Wolfe and to them, three beautiful children were born, Kaidyn, Drake and Brooklyn. Brandon worked as a chef until his health declined and he was forced to retire. About six years ago once again he followed his mother who had moved back to Bartlesville. On April 24, 2021, he married Meagan Dashner in Bartlesville.

Brandon loved his children and loved playing ball and video games with them, fishing and attending their many activities and he was die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan. He enjoyed playing golf with his dad and giving his mom a hard time, usually on a daily basis. Together with Meagan he enjoyed traveling, and volunteering at the pit bull rescue. They went on a special honeymoon in New Orleans, sampling creole and Cajun cooking. In his vocabulary, food was love and Brandon loved to cook for others, as they say in NOLA, let the good times roll. Brandon was loved and will be dearly missed.

Brandon is survived by his wife Meagan Dashner-Gardner; father Mike Gardner; mother Shelly Reid; paternal grandfather Larry Gardner; children Kaidyn, Drake and Brooklyn; and sister Brittany Myers and husband Cass Myers, two nieces Aspen and Kisten.

Brandon’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, on Sunday, from 3-5 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12-5.

Services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at
