Oralia Gamez
April 04, 1951 ~ January 02, 2017

 Oralia Gamez was born in Robstown, TX to Thomas Gamez, Sr. and Frances (Rangel). She was raised along with her 3 brothers and 4 sisters near Hobart, OK. She and her siblings attended Lone Wolf Schools in Lone Wolf, OK.

After high school Oralia had a few different careers but loved helping people so eventually she became a nurses aide. She worked at B & K Nursing Center in Hobart but she was most proud of her time spent working at Elkview Hospital in Hobart.

Her passion for helping others made being a mother such a joy. She was blessed with two daughters, Dahlia & Kristie & one son, Jamie. Oralia loved spending time with her family. Being a grandmother made her so happy and with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren in her life there was never a dull moment. Although Oralia has left this earthly life,

Oralia was preceded in death by:
Parents, Thomas Gamez, Sr. and Frances (Rangel);
Brother, Thomas Gamez, Jr.;
Sisters, Gloria & Sally;
Son in law, Jessie L. Dawson;

She leaves behind:
daughter, Dahlia Gamez;
daughter, Kristie McCullough husband Ray;
son, Jamie Hernandez;
sister, Mona Maldonado husb. Clemente;
sister, Ednina Dawson;
brother, Noe Gamez;
brother, Gilbert Gamez;
10 Grandchildren;
5 Great Grand Children;
and a multitude of loving extended family and friends.
