Eula Fern Gage

July 17, 1921 ~ December 1988

Russell, Kansas – Eula Fern Gage, 67, died Thursday in a Hayes, Kansas, hospital. Her funeral will be at 2 PM Monday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Russell City Cemetery directed by Pohlman's Mortuary.

She was born July 17, 1921, at Covington. She married Charles A. Gage July 8, 1940, at Covington. They were administrators and owners of two Russell nursing homes.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Rodney of Russell; a brother, Charlie Cutter of Covington; four sisters, Florence Scott of Covington, Dora Best and Donna Marie Gibbs, both Sullivan, Indiana, and Opal Weller of Denver; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Russell Regional Hospital or First Baptist Church.
