Doris Marie (Kissire) Forwalder
December 3, 1930 ~ September 18, 2020

Doris M. Fennell Forwalder, 89, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on September 18, 2020. She was born December 3, 1930. She began teaching in Wichita, KS and retired from Yukon Public Schools in Yukon, OK. She enjoyed teaching and loved all of her kids. She loved Jesus Christ and was a member of New Covenant Christian Church.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Velma Kissire and son-in- law, Terry Denton.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Forwalder; children, Cindy Denton, Chris Fennell and wife, Cindy, Pamela Weibel and husband, David, Lisa Sherman and husband, Quentin, stepson, David Forwalder and stepdaughter, Elisa Edwards; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild and 1 great-grandchild on the way.

Viewing will be Monday, September 21, 9am-9pm with family present from 6pm-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 22 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
