Memorial services to celebrate the life of Timothy James “Tim” Fields , 60, of Tulsa, OK, were held Monday, June 16, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated.
Timothy, known to family and friends as “Tim,”, was born May 16, 1965, in Tulsa, OK, to James Edward Fields and Sharon Kay Francis. He passed away June 6, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.
Tim was born and raised in Sperry and graduated from Sperry High School in 1984. A talented trombone player, he earned a scholarship to continue his studies but ultimately chose a different path. Over the years, Tim worked as both a butcher and a welder, trades that allowed him to utilize his strong work ethic and skilled hands. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, playing video games, spending time with his nieces and nephews, visiting the casino, and offering his well-known backseat driving advice. His family will remember his humor, his independent spirit, and his ability to find joy even in life's most challenging moments.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Morrison; his brothers, Lindel Fields, Jay Robison, Michael Robison, and Jim Fields; his aunts, Barbara Francis, Linda Laird, and Carolyn Robison; and many nieces and nephews who brought him great joy.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Francis, and his father, Bill Robison. Those who loved him take comfort in picturing a joyful reunion, Tim and his mom, once again, sharing fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and gravy.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
