The funeral for Harold C. "Red" Everett, 66, 715 W. Cherry, who died Saturday afternoon from an apparent heart attack, will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Temple Baptist Church. The Rev. Bud Everett, pastor, will officiate.

Everett was born December 28, 1918, in Pontiac, Michigan, and as a young boy, moved to Caro, Michigan, where he attended and graduated from school. He and Rosa Hayas were married in 1940. They made their home in Pontiac where he was employed by Wilson Foundry. In 1944, he entered the United States Navy. After his discharge, he returned to Michigan and later lived in Detroit where he was employed by the United State Rubber Company, moving extensively due to his position with the company. In 1963, the couple moved to Chicago where he was with General Mills. He later managed a service station until ill health forced his retirement. The couple moved to Enid in September 1984.

Everett was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa; three sons, the Rev. H. H. "Bud" Everett, Enid, Loren W. Everett, San Jose, California, and Robert James Everett, Enid; two daughters, Rozann R.
