Margaret Ann (Forbes) Epperson passed away June 12, 2025, in Winfield, Kansas at 80 years old. Margaret was born on July 24, 1944, in Ralston, Oklahoma to Harold James and Geraldine Inez (Rice) Forbes.
Margaret grew up in Ralston before she met and married the love of her life Robert Byron Epperson and together, they had a large and loving family. Margaret loved her kids and grandkids; they were always in her heart. Margaret worked as a dedicated retail salesclerk. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma for many years. Her devotion to her faith and her family brought her endless joy and comfort.
Those left behind to treasure Margaret’s memory are her children, Byron and wife Deborah Epperson of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tracy and John Schooling of Winfield, Kansas; her grandchildren, Christin and husband Roth Brodrick, Brandon and wife Andie Sampley, Joshua and wife Rachel Hines, Erin Hines, Byron Epperson, Jr., Shanea Chrisman, Allyse Morrow, Jason Schooling, and Shawn Schooling; her great grandchildren, Mark Gamber, Alyssa Gamber, Braylee Sampley, Ella Sampley, Brendan Sampley, Bodhann Sampley, Jadyn Hines, Madilyn Hines, Jaycee Hines, Liam Hines, Bentley Tapia, Presley Tapia, Beau Schooling, Waylon Schooling, Lilly Schooling, and Zoey Schooling.
Margaret was preceded in her passing by her parents, her beloved husband, her granddaughters, Abigayle Epperson and Samantha Chrisman, as well as her great granddaughter, Evelyn Sampley.
