Thresa Ann (Carender) Ellison

November 7, 1940 ~ October 3, 2008

Thresa Ann Ellison daughter of Clarence and Annabelle (Robbins) Carender was born November 7, 1940 in Springdale, Arkansas and departed this life on October 3, 2008 in Westville, OK at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 26 days.

She worked for the Kern School district in California for many years. She enjoyed the duties that followed her role of a very loving mother and grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Annabelle Carender, 1 brother; Donald Carender, 1 grandson; Matthew Ira Ledbetter.

Thresa is survived by a very loving family that includes her daughter; Marcia Ledbetter and husband John of Westville, OK, 1 son; Bruce Ellison and wife Lori of Bakerfield, CA, 4 grandchildren; Jessica Lynn Jones, David William Ledbetter, Brittany Nicole Ledbetter and Catilan Ellison, 2 step grandchildren; Kim and Garrett Eagleton, 1 sister; Betty Jean Stone of Ubuacity, CA, 3 brothers; Harvey Carender, Billy Wayne Carender and Denton Lee Carender all of Wasco, CA, a special friend; Ginnette Jones, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and may friends also survive her.

Memorial services will be held, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Jackie Uleston officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
