Lonnie Ray Eddings
January 10, 1953 ~ April 12, 2026

Lonnie Ray Eddings, 73, of Pawnee, Oklahoma, passed from this life to eternal rest with the Lord on April 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his family. He was born on January 10, 1953.

Lonnie was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a life centered on family, love, and laughter, and his greatest joy came from the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and extended loved ones. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elvina Eddings; his parents, John Thomas and Corena; and his brother, Randy.

Lonnie is survived by his children: Lana Layton, Paula Hunt, Tina Herring, and Jack Hunt. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren: Philp, Craig Kreiger, Eric, Trent Wittstruck, Deanna McCosh, Kody, Kory Holland, David Line, Paul, Jack, Chad Herring, Sean Keys, Misty O’Neal, Dailena, Brittany, Jack Hunt Jr., Scott, Tyler, Adam & Tiffany Harding; along with 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He is also survived by his siblings, Tommy, Rodney, Sherry, Sheila and Vickie.

Lonnie’s life was a testament to the importance of family, laughter, resilience, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family for generations to come.

A service to honor Lonnie’s life will be Saturday April 25th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Skeedee Assembly of God. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
