Lawanda Lynn (Albin) Eagan
September 26, 1967 ~ January 5, 2026

Lawanda Albin-Eagan, 58 year old Woodward resident, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating.

Lawanda Lynn Albin Eagan was born on September 26, 1967 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Earnest Earl and Wanda Pearl (McMahon) Albin Merchant. Lawanda grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She worked for various quick stops and Dollar Tree in Woodward and was Manager of the Jiffy Trip on Downs Avenue, before her retirement.

She was baptized in April of 1976 at the First Baptist Church of Woodward. Lawanda loved spending time with her family, and her dog Buoy Ray. She had a love for music, art, and cruising the town.

She is survived by her step father: Jack Merchant; sons: Michael Paul Eagan, Trask Lynn Eagan and wife Carolina, Tanner Ray Eagan and wife Kodi; brothers: Lenny Lee Albin and wife KC, Timothy Lee Albin and wife Brooke; step brother Mark Merchant; step sister Dena Bryant and husband Terry; eight grandchildren: Kyse, Bralee, Taelyn, Xander, Lynnly, Paxtyn, Paxleigh, and Parker; many other relatives and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Paul Eagan, her father Earnest Earl Albin, and her mother Wanda Pearl Merchant.
