Bobby Elvin Dykes

Bobby Elvin Dykes
October 03, 1928 ~ February 04, 2019

Bobby Elvin Dykes was born October 3, 1928, to Ernest E Dykes and Zula Hall Dykes in Ninnekah, Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully February 4, 2019, at his home in Enid, OK.

Bobby served in the Army Air Corps. in 1946. He was stationed in Japan.

October 1, 1955, he married MaryAnn Nichols. Bobby worked for OG&E for 35 years, retiring in 1987. After retiring, Bob and MaryAnn bought a farm where they enjoyed cattle, goats, and anything outdoors.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 63 years, MaryAnn Dykes; son, James R Dykes; granddaughters, Amanda Dykes Coomes and Tonia Dykes Hladik and husband Tim Hladik; great-grandchildren, Aubre, Austin, Ayden Rogers and Madelyn and Tristan Hladik; brother-in-law Charles Nichols; sister-in-law Raelene Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 3 brothers.

There will be no memorial service.
