Scott R. DuCharme, Sr.
August 19, 1958 ~ March 21, 2007

Scott R. DuCharme, Sr., passed away March 21, 2007 at the age of 48. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 19, 1958. Scott graduated from John Marshall high school in 1976 and attended Oklahoma State University. He loved playing the drums and was in the high school band. He also loved sports and enjoyed track and playing football.

Scott always had a smile to give no matter what the situation and a unique ability to see the best in others. He loved people and made friends easily. Scott had an adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit from the day he was born. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, and is gentle and generous soul.

He is survived by his father Thomas DuCharme, and his wife Barbara of Danbury, Connecticut, his mother Marlene DuCharme of Edmond, and his four children, Scott Jr., Matthew, Katie, and Geoffrey. He is also survived by his brother Steve DuCharme of Edmond and his three sisters Lori Darks, and her husband Don of Davenport; Michelle Ross and her husband Ron of Edmond; and Christy Buchanan and her husband Bryan of Edmond, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10 AM at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
