Sylvia Louise “Sissy” Dronen

Sylvia Louise “Sissy” Dronen, 66, of Guymon passed away Thursday June 29, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Joyce Smith and Eugene Kyle, she was born October 14, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska. Sissy attended school in Omaha graduating with North High in 1976.

Sissy moved to Guymon from Omaha in 1999, she attended the Guymon Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Smith and Eugene Kyle, brother, Dave Kyle, granddaughter, Erika Pierce and great grandson, Samuel Cronin.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Sams III of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters: Christina Pierce of Colorado Springs and Lisa Soto and husband, Rudy of Guymon. Survivors also include one sister, Jeannie Micek of Omaha, Nebraska, two brothers, Dale and Eugene Kyle of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren: Latisha Cronen, Christopher Welsh, Lashaina Crawford, Joseph, Alexis and Haley Soto, one great grandson, Malakaii Crawford and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private celebration of Sissy’s life.
