Betty Jean (Baker) Drach
July 07, 1930 ~ December 13, 2017

Betty Jean Drach 87, of Nineveh, Pennsylvania, passed away December 13, 2017, in The Washington Hospital.

She was born July 7, 1930, in Enid, Oklahoma, a daughter of Paul J. and Thelma M. Baker.

Betty attended Oklahoma A & M and received an Associate's Degree.

She travelled the world as an air force spouse before settling into her retirement years in upstate New York. 

Betty worked as a registered nurse analyst for the Department of Social Security, in New York.

She was an avid reader, she never met a mystery novel she didn't love. She loved crocheting, knitting and quilting. A great believer in scouting, she served as both a cub scout den mother, and with the girl scouts, in several capacities. 

She loved music and passed the love of music to all four of her children. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, smile and kindness.

She made her home with her daughter Kris for the past three years.

She is survived by a son Joseph J. Drach Jr. (Janet Farrell) of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Ann "Kris" Drach (Chuck Kreuzer) of Nineveh, Pennsylvania; Elizabeth J. Knight of Glen's Falls, NY; Tracy M. Drach (Renee Jennings) of Pittsburgh; brother, Bob D. (Sally) Baker of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Christopher (Carly) Knight, Stefan Drach; great-grandchildren Oliver and Eli Knight.

Funeral arrangement under the care of William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. At the request of the family, arrangements are private.
