William Edward ”Bill” Dowling, Jr., 64, of Tulsa, OK, was born May 27, 1960, in Tulsa, OK, to William Edward Dowling, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Pittman) Dowling. He went home to be with the lord on January 29, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.
Bill graduated from Sperry High School. He worked for Meadow Gold Dairy for many years. He worked in the warehouse, and as a truck driver for L.A. King for the past 24 years. He was devoted to his job and had many friends, both employees and customers. Bill loved fishing, that was his passion. He also loved to collect and read books. He was a fan of anything relating to Oklahoma Sooners.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 37 years, Charlene (Weems) Dowling; sons, Matthew Ryan Dowling and Christopher Brian Dowling; stepdaughter, Tulip Boatright, and husband, Ron; stepson, Bill Barney and wife, Natalie; grandkids, Jeremy Blackowl, Nathan Blackowl, Adrienne Blackowl, Cameron Blackowl, Kacey Boatright, Dusty Barney, Austyn Barney and wife, Diana, and Hadyn Barney and wife, Fernanda; 5 great-grandkids; brothers, Charles Dowling and wife Helen, Danny Dowling and wife Connie, James Dowling and wife Robin, and Patrick Dowling and wife Ruby; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great-nephews; sisters-in-law, Patsy Hilgendorf and husband, Raymond, and Trudy Weems; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Dowling;
and brother-in-law, Charley Weems.
Arrangements and services were
entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
