Mary Lou (Walker) Dover

Mary Lou Dover, born October 12, 1923 passed away on August 10, 2013. She was born and raised in the Washington-Ladd area. She and her first husband Everett Bennett had five children during their eighteen years of marriage; daughters, Lillian, Glenna and Ramona and sons, Everett Jr and James. Mary Lou loved her birds. She spent a lot of time working in her bird barn and caring for her birds. She was known as the Bird Lady to a lot of her friends. Her lengthy battle with Dementia is over and she has gone on to be with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Guy and Cora Mae Walker; Her four siblings: Josephine Stearns, Dora Mae Stapp, William Walker and Bertha Lynn, and Her husband William I. Dover passed away on February 8, 2009.

Mary Lou leaves behind: Her daughters, Lillian Dunford of Norman, Glenna Broussard and her husband Howard of Lexington and Ramona Farley and her husband Jerry of Lexington, Her sons, Everett Bennett, Jr. and his wife Donna of Lexington and James W Bennett and his wife Janet of Dibble. She leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A Private Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later time.
