Todd Martin Douglas

December 8, 1962 ~ December 31, 2019

Todd Martin Douglas, 57, Enid, son of Jo (Douglas) Wilson and Rex Donald Douglas, went to his new home in Heaven on December 31, 2019. His mom was holding his hand as he left this world.

Todd attended Enid Schools, Coolidge Grade School, Longfellow Jr. High and Enid High School. He was very active in sports and when he played baseball for Bob’s Cone Corner he was the pitcher. Todd was in basketball and football as well. Todd also loved playing golf. In a contact game, he came in second place. He worked for Danny Vendetti brick laying and then moved to Tulsa where he was the District Sales Manager for Coca Cola. Later, he moved back to Enid where he was the manager of Western Uniform and Towel.

Todd had a true belief in his Lord. He was confirmed by the Bishop of Oklahoma in St. Matthew’s Episcopal church in Enid in 1977 at the age of 15. When asked if he was ok with his Lord, his answer was “God knows me”.

He is survived by his mother, Jo Wilson of Enid and great aunt, Grace of Wichita,; uncle Reverend Gene Douglas of Texas and many cousins and friends. Todd was preceded in passing by his father, Rex, step-father Steve Wilson (he was his idol), step-brother, Tom Fulgium, grandparents, B H and Ethel Martin, Russell and Jane Douglas, and many great aunts and uncles as well as Bob and Glenn Douglas, also, his great-grandmother Dolly Allen who he loved very much.

Following his cremation, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service, a memorial service will be held at The Living Center at a later date. He was a resident there for three years. His mom and many friends will miss him.
