Bonnie L. (Shepherd) Donovan

Mass of Christian Burial for Bonnie L. Shepherd Donovan was Dec. 22, 2007, in St. Therese Catholic Church, Kansas City, Mo. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kan.

She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Goltry to David and Lillie Milacek Shepherd and died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, in Garden Valley Manor, Kansas City.

She attended St. Joseph Academy in Enid and received her registered nursing degree from St. Anthony Hospital nursing program in Oklahoma City in 1944. She married Warren Donovan Oct. 20, 1956. She worked as a surgical nurse, office nurse and industrial nurse. She was chief nurse at TWA Airlines 14 years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Warren, of Kansas City; one sister, Betty Bauer of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; and one brother, James Shepherd of Enid.

Memorials may be made to Garden Valley Manor, St. Therese Catholic Church or American Parkinson�s Foundation.
