Services for Genevieve Chambers Donaldson, 74, of Dickson, Tennessee, were held Tuesday, May 13, at the Dickson Funeral Home Chapel, Dickson, with Bro. Gary Hughes officiating. Interment was at Hilltop Cemetery, Dickson.
Born June 17, 1933, in Anadarko, the daughter of Sam Garvey and Ina Pearl McBride Chambers, she died May 10, 2008, at N.H.C. Health Care, Dickson.
Raised in Burneyville, Mrs. Donaldson graduated from Burneyville High School in 1951. She married Thomas Donaldson in 1952.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Tucker; five sons, Tommy, Timmy, Tracy, Terry and wife Belinda Donaldson, all of Dickson, and Jody Donaldson of White Bluff, Tennessee; brothers, Bill Chambers and Lewis Foster of Marietta; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many cousins in Love County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Caleb Tucker, and a brother, Wayne Chambers.
Pallbearers were her sons and grandsons.
