Thursday, November 11th, 1948 - Friday, March 3rd, 2023

A Memorial service for Herbert Dodson, age 74, of Enid, OK will be 10:00am, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Sommerfeld officiating. The United States Navy will provide military honors. Service and cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Herbert was born November 11,1948 in Okmulgee, OK to Morris and Geraldine, (Kleck) Dodson, and passed away March 3, 2023 in Enid.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Shirley Dodson; sons, Bill Dodson, and wife Sandy; Robert Dodson, and wife Trisha; James Dodson and wife Hillary; ten grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota, Tyler, Sarah, Joshua, Jaron, Kristen, Jaiden, Kassidy, and Jace; brothers, Jerry Dodson, and wife Margie of Enid; Wesley Dodson of Chickasha, OK; Clifford Dodson, and wife Janice of Cameron, NC.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, William Morris Dodson Jr., and Marilyn Wanda Dodson.

Memorial contributions in Herbert’s name may be made to the DAV, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
