William Cecil Dodd, Jr
August 18, 1940 ~ October 13, 2014

William "Bill" Cecil Dodd, Jr., Lawton, was born August 18, 1940 to Sgt. William and Margaret Dodd in Bonham, Texas. He passed away October 13, 2014 in Lawton at the age of 74.

Bill retired from active duty from the U.S. Army in February 1983 after 25 years of service. He then served in the civil service in the Target Acquisition Division of the Meteorological Branch retiring in 1997.

Bill is survived by his wife Davena, of the home; sisters, Margareta Williams of Oregon, Dorothy Collett of Missouri and Sandra Blaydes of Texas; children, Roger Wilson, Deborah Flanagin, Elliott and Barbara Newton, and Frances Magee and all their families; and long-time friend Yoneko Werner.
