Vonalee Dodd, 84 year old Woodward resident passed away, Saturday September 30, 2023 in Woodward. At this time no services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Vonalee Joyce (Shafer) Dodd was born May 12, 1939 to Ira Vaughn and Roberta Henrietta (Gray) Shafer in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Vonalee grew up North of Gage, Oklahoma on the home place. She attended Gage Schools and graduated from Woodward High School. She was united into marriage to Edmond Leon Dodd on March 19, 1955 in Fairview, Oklahoma. The couple then made their home in Woodward, Oklahoma.

Vonalee sold shoes for 35 years. She loved spending time with her family.

Vonalee is survived by her children, Robert Dodd and wife Carol of Sugarland, Texas; Michelle (Dodd) Bahena and husband Markus of The Woodlands, Texas; Nick Dodd and wife Martha of Katy, Texas; Tim Dodd of Oklahoma City; Louis Dodd of Woodward; Amy (Dodd) Nielsen and husband Jerry of Woodward; Andrea Taylor of Woodward; Autumn (Dodd) Henderson and husband Thomas of Woodward; five grandchildren, one sister, Gayle Hagger of Helena; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
