Dorothy May (Battles) Dobson
October 2, 1932 ~ January 25, 2018

Dorothy May Dobson, 85 passed away on January 25, 2018 in Perry, OK. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

Dorothy was born on October 2, 1932 to Samuel and Francis Battles in Stillwater, OK. 

She married Delano Dobson August 9, 1958 and shared many wonderful years with him until his passing on May 1, 2001.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Francis Battles; her husband, Delano Dobson; her daughter, Debra Metzger; and her brothers, Walter Battles, Lloyd Battles, Sammy Battles, Gerry Battles and Leroy Battles. 

She is survived by her sons, Ray Dobson (Cindy); Randy Dobson (Lori); Wesley King (Becky); Jay King (Kathy); as well as her 10 grandchildren Melissa Martinez (Juan); Kyle Dobson; Chase Dobson; Justin King; Chad King (Heather); David King ; J.C. King; Cheri Faris (Thom); Ryan Cresgy; Jeremiah King (Ashlei); 6 great-grandchildren Jordyn, Jaelyn, Isack, Raye Lynn, Taylor and R.J.; and her brothers Alvin Battles, Levi Battles, Arthur Battles, Tommy Battles, Charlie Battles; and sister Mary Campbell.

Dorothy dearly loved her Lord and Savior. She will be missed dearly.
