Doris Fay Dobbs
January 24, 1932 ~ April 09, 2017

Doris Fay Dobbs was born January 24, 1932 in Kaufman, Texas. She passed away April 9, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 17 days.

Doris moved with her family to California during the Dust Bowl. She married Charles E. Pruitt in 1952 and they lived in Visalia for a time before returning Oklahoma and they made their home in Oklahoma City. Doris moved to Elk City to be near her daughter in 2008. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ruth Darby.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Beverly McConnell and husband, Thomas C., Elk City, OK, Shirley Holik and husband, Howard, Stroud, OK; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
