Leatrice "Pat"'s Story

Leatrice "Pat" Joy Diller Dixon, 82, Granbury, Texas, passed on Thursday, June 23, 2016, in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital.

A memorial dinner in her honor is 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the Civitan Homes, 1314 N. Garland, Enid.

She was born Feb. 9, 1934, to Lloyd and Bonnie Diller, in Wynnewood. She moved to Enid in 1944.

Leatrice graduated from Enid High School in 1952. She worked at Champlin Refinery as an accounts payable clerk.

She relocated to Granbury, Texas, in 1982, where she retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.

Leatrice is survived by two sons, Robert and wife, Diana, of Enid; and Darryl Gritz, of Granbury, Texas; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jacob, both of Enid; sister, Ruby Johns; brother, Gene Diller; and her beloved dog, Lulu.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Diller; and two sons, James and Gary Gritz.
