Forrest Wayne Dickinson

Forrest Wayne Dickinson
December 26, 1960 ~ June 13, 2025

Forrest Wayne Dickinson passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 64, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was born on December 26, 1960, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Jarrett Wright and Jackie Lene (Brannon) Dickinson. Forrest moved to Arkansas with his mother and was later raised by his uncle. Eventually, they relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began working for a local fence company. Forrest later traveled to California with his brother, where they both worked in Yosemite. After several years, he returned to Tulsa and began working for Bartlett Collins Glass in Sapulpa. For over 20 years Forrest served as a ranch foreman, gaining the respect and admiration of his employer, Dub Enlow. Someone who was more like family than just an employer. Their bond extended beyond the workplace and Forest admired him deeply, and the feeling was mutual. The work he did for Dub Enlow will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Forrest had a true love for the simple things in life. He found joy in fishing and treasured every moment he spent with his grandchildren. He had a big heart for animals and was always willing to take them in. Forrest was deeply loved by everyone who knew him and his presence will never be forgotten.

Forrest is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Dickinson; his children, Wayne Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, and Amber Peterson; his siblings, Jarrett Dickinson, Eulene Hollingsworth, Melinda Parish, and Andrea Huff and her husband, Robert; numerous grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jarrett and Jackie Dickinson, his sister, Terry Meeks, and his brother, Tommy Dickinson.

For those who have asked how they can help during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has been set up, and linked below to support the family with the costs of memorial arrangements. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
