MARIE CATHERINE DICKEY
Services: Friday, April 2, 11 a.m.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 2, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Marie Catherine Dickey, 78, of Bakersfield, who passed away March 30, 2004, at her home. Reverend Jim Williams and the Order of the Eastern Star Bakersfield Chapter #125 will officiate.

Mrs. Dickey was born May 26, 1925 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Kern County for 63 years. She had been a Matron for 25 years, employed by Bakersfield City Schools. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bakersfield Chapter #125, a life member of the D.A.V., and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #26.

Survivors include her daughter, Earline Walker; sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd Earl and Kathy Dickey of Bakersfield, and Chester Wayne and Penny Dickey of Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchldren; brothers, George, Lester and Paul Tillet, and Scott Carvel; and sister, Jo Ann Spears.

Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Mortuary.
