Joan Louise (Stewart) Dickey
March 20, 1929 ~ April 12, 2014

ENID, Okla. - Celebration of Life service for Joan Dickey, 85, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alan Seibel officiating.

Joan was born to Glenn and Mabel (Robertson) Stewart on March 20, 1929, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Enid.

Joan married Ivan Dickey on Dec. 24, 1946, in Kansas, and graduated from Enid High School in 1947.

Joan was a homemaker for 20 years before moving to Green River, Wyo., where they owned One-hour Martinizing. She took care of her husband, Ivan, until he passed away.

Joan moved back to Enid, where she owned Holiday Accent with her sister-in-law. Joan also cared for her father and brother during their illness. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church. Joan volunteered at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

She is survived by her children, Mike and Cindy Dickey of Enid, Max Dickey of Minnesota, Pam and Ken Dallmann of Wyoming and Barbara Dickey of Washington; sister-in-law, Annie (Stewart) Galbreath; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by husband, Ivan; son, Greg Dickey; her parents; and one brother.

Memorials may be made to Relay for Life.
