Quinton Beryl DeVaughan

September 12, 1959 ~ October 21, 2007

Quinton Beryl DeVaughan was born September 12, 1959 in Cordell, Oklahoma, to Beryl DeVaughan and Jean [Vinyard] DeVaughan. He went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2007, at the age if 48.

Quinton was a lifetime resident of Anadarko, and graduated from Anadarko High School with the Class of 1977. He played football and baseball, and was a member of the State Champion Baseball Team.

He then went to Altus Junior College where he played baseball. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1981, and was discharged in 1983.

His name is engraved on the Wall of Honor at Enid, Oklahoma, for his military service.

He was employed for several years as a cement worker for Mike McCullough. For the last 5 years he has worked for his Dad at DeVaughan Pharmacy.

He and the former Lesa Chisholm were married on January 12, 1999, in Anadarko. Quinton enjoyed playing softball and working on cars.

Survivors include his wife, Lesa; mother Jean DeVaughan, father Beryl DeVaughan, all of Anadarko, one son Joey DeVaughan of Lawton, Daughters Taysha and Taylor DeVaughan of Fort Cobb, and 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, JaeLane Daily and husband John of Enid, Glenna Pace and husband Sam of Duncan, and Cindy Bond of Nichols, New York; numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins, and a world of friends.

A memorial service will be held later in the week.
