Ruth Ilene (Fore) Dempsey

July 2, 1942 ~ January 17, 2009

Ruth Ilene Dempsey, 66 of Crescent, OK, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009. Ruth was born to Leo Lawrence and Laura Katherine (Sanders) Fore on July 2, 1942 in Decatur, Illinois. She was a homemaker.

She married James Dempsey on August 8, 1980 in Fairview, OK.

Ruth is survived by her husband Jim, 3 daughters: Lila Rawson, Brenda Stone, and Darla Waggner & husband Mark, stepdaughter Nora Askins, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Gary Fore, and Terry Fore, numerous nieces & nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jim Fore, 3 sisters: Jean, Pat, and Kay, and great granddaughter, Destiny Ainsworth.
