Linda Joyce (Owens) DeCaluwe

May 20, 1947 ~ April 19, 2013

Linda Joyce DeCaluwe, age 65, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at her residence in Granite, Oklahoma.

Linda was born in Granite, Oklahoma on May 20, 1947, to I.S. and Wanda (Owings) Owens. Linda grew up and went to school in the Oklahoma City area, where she would later go to beauty school to receive her Master Barber certification. After graduating from beauty school, she returned to Granite where she owned and operated a beauty shop for many years.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed gardening, bird watching, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her beautiful grand kids. She was well loved by her family and friends and the best mother and friend that anyone could have been blessed with.

Preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Owens, Linda is survived by one son, Richard L. Clark Jr. and wife Bonnie of Elk City; three daughters, Lisa R. Peters of Granite, Meagan R. Easley and husband Howard of Granite and Minette R. Allen of Bellevue, Nebraska; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Owens and wife Shirley of Ada, Oklahoma along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Linda DeCaluwe will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Granite with Pastor David Hogg officiating and under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Granite.
