Shirley Ann (Schroeder) Davison

January 15, 1951 ~ October 15, 2007

Burial in San Antonio Texas, Shirley Ann Schroeder Davison went to be with our Lord on October 15, 2007. She was born January 15, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Shirley graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1969 and the University of Oklahoma.

She served in the U.S. Army.

She was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Barry L. Davison, USA (Ret) and her father, Jonah Schroeder.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Parker and husband Chris of Selma, TX; sons, Matthew Davison of San Antonio, TX, Edward Davison and wife Monique of Austin, TX and Michael Davison and wife Nancy of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Caroline and Andrew Davison of Chicago, IL and Fallon Davison of Austin, TX; mother, Olive Schroeder of San Antonio, TX; and brother, Melvin Schroeder and wife Jean of Rio Rancho, NM.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2007 10:45 A.M. FORT SAM HOUSTON NATIONAL CEMETERY Rev. Dr. Paul Zeise will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council, 2226 N.W. Military Highway, San Antonio, TX 78213 or the Humane Society of Bexar County, 4804 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229.
